There is abundant literature in Chile regarding the right to privacy, but there are scarce papers devoted to identify categories of privacy and to systematize the jurisprudence produced upon such a right, with the exception of four Chilean authors who have attempted to systematize the jurisprudence. This paper proposes to continue that effort of systematization, applying the taxonomy of privacy suggested by Solove, an author that distinguishes 16 categories of privacy. Thus, this paper presents a summary of the jurisprudence elaborated through the jurisdiction of protection, systematized according to those 16 categories. We will see that we have cases for 13 of those 16 categories.
