This paper analyzes the new projections, patterns and dimensions related to the use and application of underground development in central urban areas, given that it is an increasingly expensive, scarce and limited resource. The project is based on an important metropolitan crossroad within an area of 3.5 hectares, and it proposes the recovery of two abandoned commercial galleries in the underground of the subway station EscuelaMilitar in Santiago. The proposal must take advantage of these spaces Which are underused, and guarantee services and other non-commercial activities, that allow the consolidation of its role as an underground center for a flow of 5 million people monthly.
