We propose the use of a TCP proxy node as a solution to this situation. That is, a node will capture the data package that was sent by the transmitter, copy it and send the acknowledgement package to the client and the original data package to the receiver, this is accomplish because the node is transparent to the transmitter and the receiver. We show that our approach is effective in this scenario by increasing the throughput linearly with the number of proxy nodes.
