This research was conducted in the context of the School of Psychology at the Autonomous University of Queretaro; it aimed to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the theses of the Educational Sciences Master, in the period 2002-2012. In order to accomplish the goal, a sample of 33 theses corresponding to 47.82% of the total production of a decade of academic work was used. The symbolic field theory of Bourdieu was used as the theoretical reference, along with the contributions that are made for the analysis of research training processes.
