This article aims to identify, through a comparative study, the entrepreneurial intentions of first and last year students of the Industrial Engineering programme at Arturo Prat University, located in Iquique, Chile. The given hypothesis attempts to find evidence of significant differences about entrepreneurial intentions within the student's formative process. In order to achieve this, two instruments were used: The Business Intentions Questionnaire, developed by F. Linan in 2005 and Intentions Questionnaire and Business Values, created by S. Rueda, J. Moriano and F. Linan in 2015. After performing a comparative analysis of the results, it is shown that no significant differences are revealed during the formative process, however, interesting findings are shown for further analysis, regarding academic programme modifications to develop and enhance entrepreneurial skills in students.
