Within the context of crisis from the academic traditions; the disciplinary and conservative knowledge and demands from the pedagogy of Capital, emerges the urgency of rethinking formative spaces within the context of the University. This article draws attention towards the vignette of the learning process lived by Carmen, a College student majoring in History from a European university. Carmen participated in a significant research where the aim was to embark upon the trajectories of a medieval faculty member and researcher along with a group of students by means of a narrative methodology that allowed the reconstruction of lived experiences in first person. For the development of this research, we chose a narrative and methodological perspective that allowed us to problematize in depth the relationship between Teaching, Learning and subjectivity. The Narrative tissue, from which, relevant dimensions emerge to form part of the college life allows us to imagine new possibilities of relation between Knowing and Culture. This in turn is always a result of an encounter involving an intersubjective relation from a crossgenerational dialogue.
