The book Poems to mothers, which conjugates Gabriela Mistral's verses with the plastic artist Andre Racz's drawings, was reissued by the Chilean editorial Radio Universal Editions with the National Council of Arts and Culture's support -CNCA- in 2015. This is the third time that the poem edition is included and the second one Racz's images are included since the first edition of the book appeared in 1950. Maternity, women, women's fears and strengths are impeccably described by a woman who was unable to give birth, but who was a devoted lover of children, and who was also solidary with the female gender. Racz shows the same describing in his visual work the fragile and delicate world a pregnant woman can live in. The two artists put their effort together in this book as a solidarity and love expression.
