Although it has been a prolific area in the chilean artistic production, both the cinema and the experimental video have been scarcely attended in the bibliography. This article aims to make this area visible, making a itinerary of experimental audiovisual forms that have had a presence in Chile during 2005-2015. In turn, it seeks to present a discussion on the historical inscription of experimental film and video in the tradition of video art and documentary film, linking experimentation to an "inter-place" that moves between areas and institutional spaces from liminal and expanded practices establishing productive tensions and new ways of approaching the moving image.
