Given the tensions between the categories of testimony and fiction in the 21st century, the commitment to examine and reconsider the literary and fictional properties of the various forms of discourse continues to dominate the critical terrain of testimony. This article examines some of the strategies that have mediated the construction of meanings around the traumatic experience of the surviving witness and analyzes the different levels of fictionalization that can be found in said narrative production. To achieve this, a transdisciplinary theoretical-conceptual approach (literature, psychoanalysis, philosophy) is favored, as well as dialogue with various testimonial stories that seem to be in a demystifying and fractured space to the extent that they play on the discursive and structural edges. It is about strengthening aline of research that privileges the study of the concentration camp testimony and its close links with the narrative forms of fiction.
