The auditory pathway is a specialized system that makes it possible to interpret auditory signals. To determine whether there is any auditory or neurological impairment, there are tests such as Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials, which, depending on the test result, can determine at what level of the brainstem the damage is located. To interpret the results, the intervention of the medical technologist is needed; however, it is possible that the reading is not completely accurate. In this work, we propose using Artificial Intelligence to facilitate this task. For the above, studies and publications were compiled according to a specific criterion of doubt, and new approaches and possible ways of implementing Artificial Intelligence-based methods were addressed for intelligent medicine in Auditory Brainstem Responses.
