This article studies unknown or little-known allusions to Calderón de la Barca in Latin texts of the Baroque (philosophical, theological, literary...), with special attention to the figure of Juan Caramuel. It is concluded that, until 1750, Calderón was only seen as a theatral author, of whom various works stood out, less known today, but then widely represented. Starting in 1750, the author of autos sacramentales began to be valued.
