This article analyzes the possibility of holding a parent company liable for crimes committed by one of its subsidiaries under the Law on Economic Crimes. It addresses some general issues regarding the models of attributing criminal liability to legal entities, and then considers the main assumptions under which the criminal liability of the parent company could be configured. The article then examines what should be understood by the lack of operational autonomy as a prerequisite for holding the parent company liable for the acts of its subsidiary.
