Introduction: This study focuses on the discursive content created by self-organized female students on Facebook pages during the 2018 feminist student movement in three universities in Concepcion, Chile. Methodology: The research was carried out between May 1 and June 30, 2018, and used intentional non-probabilistic sampling of text and images. Posts with the most reactions on Facebook were selected and analyzed using a categorical thematic qualitative content analysis. Results: The results show that the Facebook posts sought to destabilize a patriarchal and sexist system and legitimize the power of the feminist movement through digital platforms. Discussion: The study highlights the evolution of traditional activism toward fulfilling organizational and informative functions. Conclusions: The use of Facebook as a discursive tool in mobilizing and constructing discourse in the Chilean feminist student movement of 2018 is also emphasized.
