This paper examines the evolution of constitutional equality in Chile over the last four decades, focusing on the legacy of the 1980 Constitution and the role of subsequent legislative and dogmatic transformations. It also analyses the evolution of equality in the recent constitutional process, identifying its advances and setbacks, particularly with regard to gender equality.
