Nanostructured sensors have emerged as a promising tool to address environmental challenges by providing highly sensitive and selective detection capabilities. This review article detail the role of nanostructured sensors in environmental applications, highlighting their benefits, limitations, and future perspectives. It analyzes the different types of nanostructured sensors used in environmental monitoring, the materials employed in their fabrication, and their potential to contribute to ecosystem preservation and human health.
