The objective of the research focused on analyzing the mental health and emotional well-being of teachers at a Private University in the Metropolitan region of Chile. The methodological route focused on the quantitative paradigm, under the non-experimental, descriptive design, a sample was managed using a formula for finite samples, with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. The data were collected using a questionnaire structured in two sections: a mental health scale such as the GHQ-12, and an emotional wellbeing scale such as the PANAS. Among the main findings is that, although many teachers adequately manage the psychological demands of their work, a quarter of them experience significant difficulties, which can negatively influence their performance and job satisfaction.
