The Chilean dictatorial project determined the nature of social relations, defined by violence against local communities. The state company Panguipulli Forestry and Timber Complex (COFOMAP) aligned itself with the dictatorship and the company's board of directors dismissed its democratic character, impacting the local community. We seek to understand the imposition, through intervention policies, that transformed the social relations of production. The text reviews two main sources: the minutes of the directory and documents on the entity between 1977 and 1988, held in the Public Administration Archive (ARNAD); and, on the other hand, we present testimonies from former workers and residents.
