Cases of schwannomas located in different regions have been reported, but the axillary location represents less than 5%. Some schwannomas present as symptomless masses, while others cause discomfort, such as pain and numbness. The case of a 68-year-old woman is presented, where the institutional medical team had diagnostic difficulties due to a large right axillary mass, which underwent local resection as the only treatment, leading to neurological sequelae due to involvement of the posterior fascicle of the brachial plexus, but continuing with negative controls.
