The objective of this research was to determine the level of knowledge about healthy eating among students at the Adventist University of Chile, analyzed by faculty, major and sex. This non-probabilistic cross-sectional research, made up of 322 students, of which 220 are women and 102 men. A knowledge test on healthy eating was applied based on the recommendations of the World Health Organ-ization (WHO). The results were analyzed using the JAMOVI 3.2.21 statistical program, considering a significance of P = 0.05. The Faculty of Health (FACS) showed a better level of knowledge regarding healthy eating. Women in the Pedagogy in Physical Education, Pedagogy in English, Accountant Auditor, and Civil Industrial Engineering programs presented a medium level of knowledge, while men in general showed a low level of knowledge. The majors with the highest level of knowledge in both sexes were Nursing and Nutrition and Dietetics. This research reveals that the level of knowledge about healthy eating is "medium" and "low" among students at the Adventist University of Chile in Chillán. These data can be considered by university and government authorities to implement healthy eating promotion programs, especially aimed at improving knowledge among men, in order to prevent diseases in the future.
