In this article we seek to know about the sociocultural construction of sexuality and homoeroticism of young Aymara males living in the north of Chile (XV region), city of Arica, analyzing sexual practices and affective ties through their own experiences. Based on what is “socially permitted” and “socially sanctioned” we will delve into their sexual orientation built within a context that has a worldview, ideology as well as values and norms typical of the Aymara indigenous world. To achieve the above, an ethnographic study has been carried out where the experience of young homosexual males ascribed to the Aymara culture of the city of Arica was addressed through in-depth interviews.
