This reflection article is a result of the state-of-the-art review conducted in the research work titled "Impact and Effectiveness of Policies to Manage The Scourge of Domestic Violence Between 2015 and 2020 By The Administrative and Judicial Authorities in the City Of Pamplona". The article presents the evolution of the concept of family, discusses various meanings of domestic violence in Colombia, and explores their conventional, legal, and jurisprudential. The administrative process carried out by the Family Commissioners is then recounted, emphasizing protective measures for families decreed by various authorities,concluding with key findings.
