Jullien's proposal is characterized by highlighting analyzes of daily existence that the philosophical tradition had taken as too contingent and, for the same reason, had left it to the treatment of art, poetry and literature. In this sense, the philosopher has had as one of his lines of work the theme of the meeting and intimacy between subjects. The objective of this research is to find out if the notion of 'meeting' has metaphysical and not only anthropological consequences in his doctrine. And vice versa, we will investigate whether, according to Jullien, the willingness or not to meet and the entry of the other into existence depends on certain previous metaphysical positions.
