The purpose of this article is to understand the processes of gender transition experienced and analyzed by a student physical education pedagogy at a denominational university, locating the main issues and challenges that are experienced in this process. Methodologically, it was approached from a qualitative approach, specifically a narrative biographical study. The main results that from the process of hormonization of the Key Informant (KI) another appearance-presence was generated, with radical effects in the way of living, decreasing dysphoria, identity reaffirmation, harmonizing one's own expectations and imaginary. In conclusion, the construction of gender is a process that calls for an existential redefinition from the structural-organic to the symbolic-cultural as a continuum, not as a fragmentation or superposition of autonomous and split parts.
