The objective of the study was to know the resources and limitations perceived by Physical Education Pedagogy students in their pedagogical practices. A descriptive study was conducted with 52 students between 18 and 25 years of age using a questionnaire of 10 openended questions to identify the limitations and resources in this context. The results show high expectations at the beginning of the practice process, identifying communication skills as a strength and showing fear of the eventual lack of group mastery and lack of implementation in the school. After the internships, students report learning group management, and that soft skills, conflict resolution and group management should be reinforced. It is concluded that identifying the limitations that students perceive regarding the teaching practice allows orienting the training activity to develop strategies that enhance existing resources and address the perceived limitations to respond to the demands of professional practice.
