The objective of this paper is to examine how the Chilean State has dealt with the international forced migration of children and adolescents (CNA) from 2010 to the present. Based on a qualitative methodology of documentary analysis of specialized literature, statistical material and reports, it is observed that, despite the increase in forced displacements, the Chilean State has granted refuge to a small number of child and adolescent applicants, most of whom have not been granted a response, which is particularly worrying considering the serious crisis affecting Venezuela. It is evident that the scenario has worsened, since in recent years there has been a substantial increase in the entry of children and adolescents through unauthorized crossings, particularly Venezuelan nationals. In view of this situation, the main responses generated by the Chilean legal system are analyzed, as well as the correspondence of the measures adopted with respect to international standards on the migration of children and adolescents. It is concluded that, although there are efforts by the Chilean State to provide protection to children and adolescents in the context of forced mobility, they are insufficient in light of the principle of the best interests of the child.
