This article critically analyzes the state of the art on research in Law, philosophi-cally analyzing its endings and its nature. First, it deals with research in general, then its specific challenges in the juridi-cal sciences and in the current university context. It is aimed especially at young researchers and those who devote most of their daily work to this task.
