This paper analyzes the methodological strategies with a Behavioral and Constructivist approach used in the formation of health professionals with a reflexive optic in the nursing students of Los Lagos University. The results showed that the teaching-learning strategies with a Constructivist approach favor the professional development, although in Higher Education, and even more, in the health professionals, they are still used in combination with the Behavioral approach. It is clear that nursing professionals spent their training in a complex way, overcoming multiple factors, which in turn, are transformed into improvement opportunities to teach with quality standards.
