In general, tourist destinations are presented as social and economic instances that try to promote individual and/or collective interest in enjoying the benefits and services that the tourism sector promotes. This condition promotes the participation of a diversity of actors, mainly linked to the public and private sectors, who together achieve a virtuosity that allows transforming local and regional economies into true industrial engines. In this context, the work postulates to demonstrate the presence and degree of incidence of threats that, between 2015 and 2020, would be conditioning, transversally, the exercise of tourism work. To do this, using a historical-comparative method, data will be collected from tourist sites in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. In the same way, after the incursion of cryptocurrency, as an instrument for the transaction of goods and services, verify the degree of interference in the tourism industry.
