Based on the definition of the right to non-discrimination in remuneration, particularly its rationale and content, this paper analyzes the status of recognition of such right in the Latin American sphere, both in the inter-American legal system and in that of the countries that comprise it, as well as the measures that have been established to guarantee the effectiveness of this right, analyzing to that effect whether the legal instruments referred to by international instruments have been incorporated, among others, that of job evaluation.
