This research aims to deepen and identify what are the themes and changes that have existed in Latin American scientific work around the studies of the world of work. To this end, bibliometric tools will be developed to identify, characterise and analyse themes within the debates and approaches in which labour studies have developed in the 21st century. To achieve this objective, this paper proposes to present a review of the current debates in labour studies in Latin America, to analyse the production through scientometric tools and to present some of the agendas and lines of the discipline. Finally, a reflection on the scope and potential of scientometric tools and their contribution to the study of the complexity of the world of work is proposed.
