This paper defends the thesis that the notion of wisdom adequately synthesizes the fundamentals of the Bonaventurian doctrine on the knowledge of truth; and that it adequately resolves the modern fracture between philosophy and theology, with all the corresponding problems. This work analyzes the main texts in which the Seraphic Doctor carries out a reduction of the term "wisdom" and then draws of truth.
