The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), has represented a relevant problem for global public health, highlighting the weaknesses of social organization in medical protocols. The pictorial works represent part of the collective memory of the cultural past of the peoples and the pandemics have been an inspiration for many plastic artists. Medicine demands a permanent dialogue with other spaces of human creation and for this reason; in this article, we highlight the relationship between art and health in periods of this nature.
