The Zoology Museum of the Universidad de Concepción (MZUC-UCCC) periodically reports on all new additions of type material to its collections. The first list (Part I), was submitted in December of 1968 by Tomas Cekalovic and Jorge N. Artigas and included all types regardless of their denomination. Parts II-V, by the same authors, followed the same format (Part II January-1969/January 1974; Part III until September 1976; Part IV until June 1981; Part V june 1981-December 1992). After Part V, there is a 22 years gap due to the retirement and later passing of Tomas Cekalovic (Curator). The present Part VI, is authored by Jorge N. Artigas and E. Solar and takes into account the types added between December 1992 and August 2015. The accompanying figure includes all Types added between 1968 and 2015. Within the period corresponding to December 1992 and August 2015 (Part VI) a total of 2.656 types were added to the collection, with different names.
