New times of obstetrics have led to a high level of prenatal care development with new and complex challenges. As a result new specialists have emerged from the Obstetrics with high competence in maternal care and prenatal diagnosis, wich have improved the results in both conditions. Concomitantly units and hospitals have reorganized their process structures, resulting care models of high risk pregnancy with different levels of complexity, adapted to the current requirements of a complementary and the synergistic manner. Different variables influence the organizational mode, highlighting regional or local demographic factors, availability of professionals from different areas of prenatal care, physical and technological resources, neonatal intensive care units and the complexity of the health care network available. Whatever the nature of the care center, the health of the pregnant woman should incorporate as central to development, spaces or multidisciplinary meetings where converge the different specialists in maternal fetal solving problems.
