Poetry has proved an important exploratory resource in architecture. In the light of some verses by Hölderlin and the correspondent Heidegger´s interpretation, the present article focuses on those informing aspects in Constantinos Cavafy´s work closely connected with “poetic dwelling”, urban experience and urban space, as well as with landscape, a basic concept which tends to become richer and more complex.
