The aim is to analyze the self-narratives of a group of former members of the 19th of April Movement (M-19) who participated in the process of re-insertion/re-incorporation between 1989 and 1990, having as a center of analysis the personal and narrative identity, based on the dialectic of selfhood/ipseity proposed by Ricoeur. Three interpretative scenarios of the self experience of the combatant-subjects are identified: The masking of self; the illusion and collapse of the other-self and the subversive as "third party included".
