The main goals of the care for adolescent patients with complex urological problems are summarized by an adequate transition and specific care, including: preservation of renal function, preservation of bladder function (capacity, emptying, continence) and preservation of and adequate sexual and reproductive health to ensure an adequate quality of life. To address each of these objectives is huge, but necessary to improve the quality of life of these patients. However, all efforts will be vain if there are not associated with a public politic that faces the issues of adolescence, transition and referrals of the complex pediatric urological patients at a country level.
