The article analyzes the situation of the right to self-image in the context of Chilean legislation, specifically from its link with the new judicial cases in which the affected-as happens in other countries mainly in Europe, Russia, Japan, Mexico, or Argentina-appeal to the application of the right to be forgotten regarding information published on the Internet. To achieve this, the text begins with a review of the existing legal norms and confronts them with the best-known cases that have been recorded to date and that are creating jurisprudence in the country.
