The initiative to take advantage of algae bloom as inputs of submerged reactors for the production of biodiesel that is useful for the navy in National Security, requires a system of selection of those organisms that contain a satisfactory lipid content. Since not all organisms carried by marine currents entering these reactors are appropriate for the process, these artifacts could use lights to attract the fittest and to repel the others. As a result, this paper at conceptual level presents a mathematical model of the attraction of a marine organism to artificial lights and the distribution of these eletromagnetic energy sources. Then, this article shows a new application about underwater communication through visible light between automatic devices and non-human living beings.
