Between 1933 and 1934, the South American Bureau (BSA) of the Communist International (CI) published Informaciones. The hypothesis of this article is that, assuming extreme internationalism and adhering his analysis to the resolutions of the 12th Plenary of the Executive Committee of the CI, the BSA adopted a policy aimed at promoting a bourgeois-democratic and anti-imperialist revolution. Thus, the study of Informaciones allows an in-depth investigation of the Comintern's project for South American communism during the final phase of the Third Period.
