Fuerzas especiales (2013) is a written novel by Diamela Eltit. This book describes a set of violence that the neighbors experiment daily in the department-blocks, households destined for marginalized people, places that during the novel are cordoned-off by the police forces. This violence in the post- dictatorship Chile responded to a terrorist-state reengineering, which from the political fable of the internal enemy, builds the criminal subject. Said subject, produced within the general framework of neoliberalism, would have the objective of inducing through the circulation of fear a certain form of community that guarantees neoliberal hegemony. His effects will be especially experienced by the characters of the novel, redirecting the relationship with others, producing communities without identity, memory, nor future, linked only by black-markets which are controlled by the police forces.
