This chapter relates the migration of Latin American professional mothers to the practices of reconciling childcare. I present a discussion about entangled inequalities, family, and migration, specific to the family tensions that occur in the migration of professional workers. I characterise my typology with the description and analysis from fieldwork carried out in Santiago and Berlin. Finally, I argue for the impossibility of work-family balance without affective networks in hosting cities.
