With this article, I argue that indigenous women have a multifaceted experience of domination that challenges monistic understanding of social structure, whether based on patriarchy, ethnic or class domination. They are questioning an oppressive and interconnected world system. This condition allows them to contribute to the construction of collective subjects not only centered on ethnic, gender and class factors, but as creators of new liberating ways of life that transcend the unilateral perspectives of emancipatory processes. Thus, the voices of these women are relevant, as they do not question power from the center, but from the margins, and these articulations provide fundamental contributions to alternative understandings of the exercise of power and its challenges.
