This article analyzes the politicization of culture by the opposition to the chilean civic-military dictatorship. For this, the case of Chile Crea is analyzed. This meeting, it is proposed, would not only have been instrumental in heralding and structure an important part of the cultural resistance of that time, but it would also have been essential in the development of the political opposition in the face of the 1988 plebiscite.
