This article aims to describe Radio Cultural Vida, religious station in Ocosingo, Chiapas (Mexico), from recognizing the impact that radios associated with non-Catholic religious groups have had, in a context characterized by religious diversity. To do this, we resort to analyzing the mediations to explain how these communicative interactions are expressed in the narratives of the interlocutors. The station and its radio proposal and its relationship with the Presbyterian Church of the municipality are described. A qualitative look was privileged in the investigation using the ethnographic description and the analysis of interviews in dialogue with other studies on the subject. In this way we conclude that the station allows the construction of symbolic territories amidst the religious diversity of the municipality and intervenes in the various ways of knowing and practicing religion. It is shown as the average radio in the acquisition of knowledge and recognition as believers. In this way, we consider Radio Cultural Vida as a cultural dynamizer agency of religious plurality with an alternative communication strategy that modulates a space for the differentiation of beliefs beyond the limits of Ocosingo.
