In this article we analyze the most important aspects of myofascial pain, emphasizing that the knowledge of the pathophysiology, of the anatomy, and of the constitutional characteristics of the individual, gives us a rational support to the therapeutic interventions. It fits highlight that the miofascial pain is a condition tractable that responds favorably to the treatment opportune and adequate.
