The current hegemonic order has permeated our social fabric, weakening the bonds of solidarity and commodifying community relations. Despite this, there are still isolated sectors of society that organize themselves in an alternative way to the dominant model. This article deals with the resistance to the neoliberal model in the city of Valparaiso through a case study of the Community Tourism Route formed by Ecomapu and Corporacion La Matriz, and the study phenomenon is constituted by the management model. In the search for understanding the forms of resistance implied by this model, we work with a qualitative methodology and a quasi-ethnographic method. Data from participant observations, documentary analysis, interviews and focus group are subjected to content analysis, resulting in a solidarity management model, articulated by discourses and concrete actions of resistance that transcend community tourism, being made visible by the community as a counter-hegemonic struggle. It is concluded the existence of daily logics of participation, preservation and subsistence that involve the appropriation of characteristic elements of the reproduction spaces for the transformation of the local space and the re-structuring of the social fabric, at the same time that power structures are put under tension.
