The tangle is one of the fundamental characteristics of the comedies of the Spanish Golden Age. This work studies concealment as the main way of tangle and comicality in El galan fantasma (1637), a palatine comedy by Pedro Calderon de la Barca. This resource is presented from the action of the characters, whether sporadic -through covered women, cloaked men and darkness- or permanent -the ghost- and from the speech.
