The educational system in Chile is going through different change processes, which in one way or another are affecting the different actors involved in the school community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the willingness to change in teachers and school administrators of public ad subsidized schools in the commune of San Pedro de la Paz, Chile, to face the different change processes. The study corresponds to a descriptive research in which 128 teachers from 7 different educational establishments were surveyed. The study corresponds to a descriptive research in which 128 teachers from 7 different educational establishments were surveyed, who were administered a questionnaire with the Likert scale of authors like of Lozada and Fernández (1999) and adaptations of the authors Dym (1999) and, García and Dolán (1997). Among the main results, it was found that the subjects of study are ambivalent or indecisive when facing change, and have attitudes of little resistance to it, regardless of the type of school to which they belong. Among the main conclusions is the importance of the credibility and preparation that the management team must have in order to lead this type of process.
