In this paper we study the Timoshenko model over the interval (0,l) with pointwise dissipation at xi is an element of (0, l). We prove that this dissipation produces exponential stability when xi is an element of Ql and xi not equal n/2m+1, where n, m is an element of N and n, and 2m + 1 are co-prime.
